Just Dropped (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the Just Dropped mobile application and website at justdropped.store. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it.
When you use the app, we generate an anonymous identifier for your device using your operating system’s built-in vendor ID (iOS) or Android ID (Android). This identifier does not identify you personally. We specifically avoid using advertising IDs (IDFA or GAID) and do not request advertising tracking permissions.
When you tap on a product to view it, we record which product was tapped and your anonymous device identifier. We use this solely to understand which drops are popular and to avoid counting the same tap twice.
Our backend database and API is provided by Supabase, Inc. Click events and the product feed are stored and served through Supabase. Data is stored on servers in the European Union. You can read Supabase’s privacy policy at supabase.com/privacy.
When you tap a product link, it may be routed through Skimlinks, an affiliate marketing service, before reaching the retailer’s website. Skimlinks may set cookies on the retailer’s site for the purpose of affiliate attribution. Skimlinks operates independently of Just Dropped once you leave our app. You can read their privacy policy at skimlinks.com/privacy-policy.
Products open inside an in-app browser. Once you are viewing a retailer’s site, their own privacy policy applies. We have no control over data collected by retailers.
The app uses Expo’s over-the-air update infrastructure to deliver app updates. Expo may log basic request metadata (IP address, timestamp) when the app checks for updates. See expo.dev/privacy.
We use anonymous click data only to understand which products are resonating with our audience and to improve the curation of the feed. We do not sell this data, share it with advertisers, or use it to build a personal profile of you.
Click event records are retained indefinitely for aggregate analytics purposes. Because records contain only an anonymous device identifier and a product reference — no personal data — there is no practical way to delete records associated with a specific person. If you would like to discuss this, please contact us.
Just Dropped is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. When we make material changes we will update the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
