About Just Dropped

Every morning, I do the thing I've been doing for fifteen years — I go through the new drops so you don't have to.

Just Dropped is my daily edit of the pieces actually worth your attention, from the fashion houses I trust most. No algorithms, no sponsored clutter, no fast fashion filler. Just me, my eye, and the brands I'd spend my own money on. Trust me — that list is shorter than you'd think.

The editor

Meet Penny Goldstone

Penny Goldstone is a London-based fashion editor with more than 15 years of experience covering the industry's biggest houses and most exciting independents. Her career began on the assistant rail at Marie Claire, where she rose to Fashion Editor and later Digital Fashion Editor — leading shopping coverage, trend reporting, and runway analysis across hundreds of shows a year.

She has interviewed designers from Phoebe Philo to Jonathan Anderson, written front-row dispatches from Paris, Milan and New York, and built one of the most-followed shopping columns in British fashion media. Her work has been cited by The Times, Vogue Business and The Business of Fashion.

Just Dropped is the project she always wished existed: a single, beautifully edited feed of new releases from the brands actually worth your attention — without the algorithmic noise, sponsored fluff, or fast-fashion clutter that clogs the rest of the internet.

“I wanted somewhere I could send my friends every morning that says, simply: here’s what’s new and here’s what’s good. That’s it. That’s Just Dropped.”

— Penny Goldstone, Founder

How we curate

Three rules, no exceptions

01

Editor-led, never algorithmic

My eye, not an algorithm — Every single drop is chosen by me. No paid placements, no PR pressure, no influencer wishlists. If it's on the feed, it's because I'd genuinely consider buying it myself (and frankly, sometimes already have).

02

Brands worth your wardrobe

Brands that earn their place — I only cover houses with a real point of view and the craftsmanship to back it up. The kind of pieces you'll still want to wear in three years' time. Life is too short — and your wardrobe space too precious — for anything less.

03

Transparency

An honest word about links — Some of the links on Just Dropped are affiliate links, which means I earn a small commission if you buy through them. I want to be upfront about that. What I can promise you is this: it never, ever influences what makes the cut. If I wouldn't recommend it to my best friend, it doesn't go on the site.

The process

How a piece makes it into the feed

  1. 1

Penny reviews the latest lookbooks, drops and lookout lists from each of our launch brands every morning.

  2. 2

Pieces are evaluated on craft, design integrity, longevity, and price-to-quality ratio — not hype.

  3. 3

Approved drops are photographed, captioned, and added to the feed with the release date and direct link to the brand.

  4. 4

Anything that didn’t make the cut is set aside — we’d rather show you ten great things than a hundred mediocre ones.

Got a brand we should be watching?

Penny reads every email. Pitches, press releases, or just a love letter — send it through.
